I only think about two things:
dance and tech.
At DanceVibes, our mission is to bridge the gap between dance and technology.
Sounds simple, until you look through the App Store and realize that all dance apps are designed for beginners learning in their bedroom, not the competitive dancers attending 10+ competitions a year.
I see a future where dancers have millions of opportunities from opening their own studio, launching a dancewear brand, or dancing backup.
But I also see a future where they have personalized digital assistants to help them book jobs; custom digital calendars; interactive formation boards; and many more ‘out there‘ ideas.
Through DanceVibes, I’m giving dancers what they need.
I’ve been dancing since I was 6 and competitively since I was 11- I know what it’s like to forget corrections, feel behind in rehearsals, and feel like the worst dancer in the room.
That’s why I started building apps like danZING by DanceVibes- to help dancers stay organized, grow faster, and focus on danzing.

Dance is hard
That’s why at DanceVibes, we release apps by dancers for dancers to make dance easier!
With help from other dancers, we’ve created:
the danZING app by DanceVibes to end dance team chaos
a growing community of dancers on Instagram
the startup journey wasn’t linear
Goal-setting templates
Our first project was a set of PDF templates designed to help dancers stay consistent with their goals using the WHAT–WHY–HOW method.
It was a good starting point, but the concept was honestly too simple for what dancers needed. Still, these templates introduced us to dancers we've continued working with ever since. That community ended up being one of the most valuable parts of the whole thing.
The dance season planner
We wanted to make it easier for dancers to organize dance, school, and everything else going on in their lives in one place. So we made a physical planner built around the way dancers actually spend their time.
We sold 250 copies to individual dancers and studios, with some studios bulk-buying planners for their dancers. It was a meaningful way to get the product into the community and meet more dancers along the way.
We're not planning to bring the planner back, but it helped us learn what dancers value in the tools they use every day.
DanceVibes app
The app was our attempt to bring the original goal-setting experience onto a phone. The idea was simple: make it more convenient for dancers to track their goals and progress without needing a PDF.
But we didn't get the traction we needed, and the app itself was still too basic. Making something digital didn't automatically make it more useful.
The biggest takeaway? Dancers wanted more ways to take notes, track progress, and organize their dance lives. We needed to understand the problem more deeply instead of just making another version of the same idea.
DanceVibes Journal
The journal took a different approach. Rather than creating a product for everyone to buy, we made it for select studios and dance content creators we'd partnered with.
The goal was to connect with new dancers, build relationships, and put something tangible into the hands of people who care about the future of dance.
Not every product has to become a permanent part of the lineup. Sometimes, the value is in the people you meet and the relationships you build along the way.
danZING
This is where everything we've learned starts coming together. danZING is built for competitive dancers and competitive dance teams that are tired of keeping everything organized across group chats, emails, and scattered files.
Calendars, corrections, routine files, event details, and more belong in one place. The goal is to make dance life easier to manage, so dancers and teachers can spend less time chasing information and more time doing what they came to do.
We're building danZING around actual dancer and studio feedback, not just what we think a dance app should look like. It's our next step toward making dance technology genuinely useful.
Less group chat chaos.
More time to dance.
One place for the details that keep competitive dance teams running.
